It is a clean burning scented candle made from an actual coconut shell. The long lasting wax is hand poured into the shell (or half shell).  Don't worry, these candles are very stable, and coconut shells are naturally flame retardant.  They are biodegradable as well.

To ensure the quality of the candles, Koppe's Kokonuts tests all of their products from their tea lights and coconut shells to their 20 oz. Jar. This is very important to guarantee that each candle burns evenly down the sides. Their candles are highly scented and the fragrance is consistent throughout their product line. The fragrance strengths remain unchanged - from the first lighting to the very last.  Koppe's coconut shell candles are made of only the highest quality products. Due to the quality of ingredients, the candles have an outstanding burn time.  Only paper core (lead free) wicks are used in all coconut candles. The owners of Koppe's Kandles saw a need for a highly scented candle at a reasonable price. The coconut shell candle was born.  Based  out of Christmas, Florida, their endeavor was started in October, 1997 at a flea market in Sanford, Florida.  The rest as they say is History, because their coconut candles are now shipped worldwide.
